Frequently Asked Questions

"What is TribOriginal?"

The mission of TribO is to create a 'Tribal culture weekend' to satisfy every aspect of the international, continuously developing community that has surrounded Tribal Bellydance over the years. With this vision in mind, we proudly offer something for everyone in a rejuvenating, lush setting. We provide classes in dance, music, gypsy arts, business, circus arts and professional costuming, hair & makeup. We also have
an extensive children's program with scholarship offering.

"What is included in the cost?"

At TribO, we want you to have the luxury of not worrying about your needs being met for the whole weekend. Registration pays for your lodging, all meals, and entertainment, as well as ALL classes if you have opted for the Full Access Package. Childrens Registration provides for over 20 hours of quality childcare, as well as their lodging and meals.

Other benefits of TribO include the shopping, hookah lounge, free coffee (back by popular demand!) and helpful, accessable staff. With a family friendly atmosphere and a vivacious night life, TribO is an incredible, all-inclusive Tribal retreat. Many other events do not include lodging, food or other considerations, such as childcare.

By rolling all this into the overall price, we are able to deliver a fabulous weekend to you at a great price and a priceless convenience.

What if I want to bring my tent?
You are welcome to tent- or Vardo-camp onsite; we will have a specific location for tent campers (please inquire at registration). However, we are charged by the site the same amount of money for you whether you chose to bring a tent or use one of the cabins that are onsite. Additionally, your site fee helps to cover the use of facilities and other costs associated with the event, such as administrative, liability, supplies and staff costs.

How can I help?
The vision of Triboriginal: Tribal Dance, Music & Culture Camp in the long-term is to continuously evolve, and be an event that the Tribal community wants to come to again and again. We love and encourage feedback.

We can always use a variety of skills in our work-study program. We are committed to make this great event available to everyone, and so we offer the Work Study option to folks willing to help make the event happen. We also appreciate assistance for the love of the community spirit. If you have suggestions or want to help, please contact Torva at Triboriginal@yahoo.com
