Tricks and Traits

garb. Pirate/ nobleman/middle eastern/street urchin/cabin

Palmistry
with Claire Dima
of Baraka Mundi
Palmistry and Chiromancy have been in
use for thousands of years, and are still practiced
today in large companies. Likely the most scientific
of divinatory arts, the ability to discern a person's
attributes and limitations can be done before looking
at any palm lines at all, but by the shape and texture
of the hand itself (Chiromancy). Delving deeper into
the hand reveals hopes, dreams, fears, love and even
death. Join us for a journey that begins in India
and continues today, in job interviews and boardrooms
around the world.
Tasseomancy
(Tea Leaf Reading)
with Torva
NiGael
Tasseomancy, or the art of tea leaf and
coffee ground reading, is quickly becoming a lost
art. Fascinating and charming as it may be, the act
itself is a developed skill, and because it requires
an artistic mind and a healthy imagination, few people
really get the hang of it as easily as they may other
divinatory pursuits. Even if you do not think you
are an artistic person, we will go over exercises
and meditations that will fine tune the ability you
do have. We will also discuss customizing the reading
ritual so that it suits your energy and guides you
to become the best Tasseomancer you can be. As old
as hot water itself, this is a creative way to better
know yourself and enjoy the cafe!
